100 percent agree with you about broz. He should be 3c to start the season. I would also say lizzotte and dewar are redundant. Brazaue should have been accairi replacement.

Hey DK, great show as always. You mentioned the possibility of releasing veterans to make room for prospects, and I wanted to dig into that a bit. Looking at the contracts, players like Kevin Hayes, Danton Heinen, Noel Acciari, Blake Lizotte, Anthony Mantha, Connor Clifton, and Matt Dumba all have just one year left. Of those, only Mantha and Dumba might return a meaningful asset in a trade. I agree with your take on Jones and Brazeau; they have two years left and could be stashed in the AHL as depth.
Dubas and Muse have mostly stuck to their word so far about prioritizing development. How likely do you think they are to follow through with this kind of roster pruning to keep the youth movement alive? Knowing that they have a limit of 50 contracts and would want to keep a contract or 2 open for future moves.

Dan , I am surprised by your response. You are jumping the gun and putting a negative spin on this when we all know that the Penguins are an injury prone team. As you said, you have been around this team for 30 years, so you should know by now and realize that Broz and others will be up before you know it. Yes Broz, Pickering, and a few others deserved to make the team. It will all work out shortly. Be patient!
