Penguins Postgame: who looked good and who didn’t in their final shot to make the roster

  1. With the prospect of Kindel being on the NHL roster, I'll remind people how Anaheim helped Leo Carlsson by scheduling him healthy scratches for rest.

  2. Overly harsh evaluation of Brunicke. The Pens went down to 5 defenseman. Muse talked about it. It was a learning experience plus you add in the roster disparity. He is not going to be mistake free. Acciari was invisible. It would have been worse if it wasn’t for Broz play.

  3. Dan, you are preparing yourself for Sullivan type decisions on the roster. Really can’t figure out what you are seeing. Kindel, Koivunen, Broz, Hallander, and even Tomasino & Poulin all deserve to be on this roster before Acciari, Lizotte, Heinen, Picard, Koppaben, Fabbri(best of that group). Plus Novak hasn’t looked good. The kids carried that game last night. If they hadn’t it would have been ugly.

  4. Doesn't matter. It's clear the Penguins aren't serious about winning, sitting on $13 mil in cap while the rest of the league snatches up the best players. Mediocrity is apparently what the Penguins are striving for this year.

  5. I hope koivunen, a. hayes, and broz all make the roster. Kindel for nine maybe? Would like graves and heinen to be waived. Would like acciari and karlsson traded. I know, i know, not going to happen.

  6. Silovs has done nothing to warrant the Penguins assigning him to the main roster. Though he will most likely be the BU to Jarry.
The goaltending is amounting up to be the weakness of this team.
