  1. the team is good enough to get a middle draft pick and see playoffs in the distance I think.. will depend a LOT on goaltending – if goaltending is above .900 they might see 80-90 points.

  2. I think Blümel and steeves might have got sent down to get more playing time.. think that would be better than them just watching from the press box?
they clear waivers, then they can be called up as needed.
The veil thing makes no sense at all!!

  3. I get sending Poitras down since he was on the bubble, didn’t exactly dazzle in preseason and is waivers exempt. I don’t necessarily agree with their decision making at all but I at least understand it. Blumel though, again not the second coming of Crosby but that seems pretty insane since there’s a reasonable chance we lose him to waivers. The forward core is so thin on paper. It’s made up of third and fourth liners. Why wouldn’t the Bruins prioritize offensive upside and player development in a year where they realistically are nowhere close to competing for a championship? And to potentially lose him and Steeves, the leading scorers in the AHL to waivers in order to keep Beecher and Viel on the roster? To me that’s just straight up misguided at best, delusional and incompetent at worst. Extremely frustrating pattern. Even if these prospects aren’t world beaters, they have to feel pretty bad about the way this team develops forwards. I think we need a change in the front office. And if the team finishes near the bottom of the standings again, we might get it.

  4. minten was sent down to providence too???the bruins aren't going to the playoffs and they'll be in the draft lottery.get the worst record would be a postive for this going nowhere team of dumb scouts and management!fire them all!!!

  5. The way I see it is that nobody makes the playoffs regardless of roster because at the end of the day you can have a team with the best players but if injuries occur or they don’t play to their strengths they’ll just not be good compared to teams that have low expectations from fans who want to surprise people

  6. Viel and Beecher and khusnadinov over Blumel and Poitras? Why are we fooling around, signing guys like kuraly and jeannot for multi year deals, getting ardvidsson and seemingly aiming for 18th overall. Should have built up the youth, why make a team out of 2 to 15 goal a season players…..

  7. I may be a little too confident, but i think the B's will make the playoffs. I think they'll be in 4th in their division above Ottawa and Montreal. Of course we all know that Swayman needs to bounce back big. If that doesn't happen then they won't make the playoffs. Best Of luck B's fans. I love your coverage Bruins Diehards. You're extremely knowledgeable. Let's get em Wednesday.

  8. Do the few advantages that Zadorov’s brings outweigh the MASSIVE deficiencies? I think he is hugely overpaid and a complete thug. And leadership? He left the ice after scoring the overtime winner leaving his teammates to celebrate. What a douche

  9. let lysell move on man. hes had multiple opportunities and its clearly not happening. see if u can get something for him. also court you should apply for gm when sweeney is finally let go

  10. I worry the Bruins are a best-case team. Everything will have to go well, good Swayman, no key injuries, fringe players and retreads playing better than they have recently and most of all, no late season fade. I think that it is just too much to reasonably hope for. I hope I am wrong, and I look forward to seeing how it goes.

  11. Great video-
The team we see in March isn't going to look like this.

Wondering about the logistics and contracts around some of these moves.
Protecting stats because they know they're going to struggle.

Seems they're building the team from the defense out.

Also makes me wonder who they're preparing for the trade block?
They've got their eye on somebody they want this trade deadline?

We've got to see what they are looking at in the committee room – a big whiteboard of contracts,

    who could've gone on waivers,

    who's a two-way contract…

Who is coming up the pipeline.

Who's a good player to develop as a trade asset

Perhaps they already calculated that Blumel wouldn't get picked up?

Seems like this is asset management more than building a winning team, until further notice.

Hoping Jeremy and Joonas rotate their hot streaks⚡

This team needs to get back to having fun. Last year was not disciplined nor fun

Perhaps that has something to do with the decisions.

They're leaning on chemistry out of the gate

One advantage Bruins have at the beginning of the season, is they're no longer predictable. opponents don't know how to coach against them yet..

This will be the ugly part of the re-tool and the beginning of the season is not going to make Bruins fans happy.

❓According to Marco sturm's words in his press conferences,

    "No, yeah…"
    😏

he's the one that has final say as to who makes his roster.

  12. Bang on. Again. I thought we were on a quest to find somebody who could score a couple goals??. Veil, Beecher and Kuraly are all head scratchers for me.
Hampus on for 24 minutes a night is too much. 2nd pair makes sense. Let Lohrei grow into the position. It's gonna take another season. Goalie comments are bang on. Korp is going nowhere, figure out a balance that works. Sway can't play 65 games. Period.
Let's hope Blumel clears. I was really hoping to see if the kids could get a good 30 game shot to see if they could do it. Maybe that was unrealistic.
If we wanna play last weeks Florida type hockey maybe we should round up Ryan Reeves, and bring Pat maroon out of retirement. Gary Veil? Seriously?

  13. Same old shit. Upper management far more concerned about their jobs than the product. An issue rampant in seemingly every field of work these days. FIRE SEA BASS.

  14. I cant wait intil Mittlestadt isnt a Bruin. I totally agree on with you on Viel over Blumehl like OMG WTF?. Lastly if the goaltending doesnt give them a combined sv% over 915 forget it no way they make playoffs

  15. Blumel should have made this team. I'm hoping he doesn't get claimed tomorrow, but i think he will. If we're lucky to still have him, when he gets called up he'll stay in the lineup. Beecher shouldn't have made it. The rest is fine.
