On waivers, but if he clears, I think he is allowed to stay with the team and play for 30 days, salary partially buried. They did this with Jason Spezza. Impatient trade addicts want to clear out Kampf, Jarnkrok and Robertson, when they could add great depth, pobably the best "5th line" (reserve squad) in the league. Keep these three in a positive situation, make the most of it, instead of demoting their career and creating an unawanted sense. Patience, the right deal comes along, do it, but don't diminish your value to make a deal for the sake of making a deal. Sent Kampf to the Marlies, and it will label him as a minor leaguer on the decline, he doesn't deserve that. 15 forwards (5 lines x 3 forwards), 6 defensemen, 2 goalies, that's 23 which makes an NHL roster. I'd love to see Reimer as back up, a little time for Hildeby with the Marlies, then once the opening day feeding frenzy clears, can switch them, with the understanding that if Remier goes to the Marlies he will help with coaching the goalie prospects..
