Sabres End Preseason with a Loss to the Penguins

On 10/3/2025 the Buffalo Sabres took on the Pittsburgh Penguins in Pittsburgh in their final preseason game. Even thought the Sabres were able to pot 4 2nd period goals, they ultimately gave up a comeback in the 3rd, allowing Sidney Crosby to score both the game tieing and game winning goal. Jiri Kulich had 2 goals, and Tage Thompson added a goal of his own. Additionally, the Sabres got more information about which players may be available for opening night, and sent 4 players down to Rochester. It was a busy day in Buffalo, but the preseason is over, and the regular season is looming.

  1. Was waiting for the Sportsnet highlights… Crickets. Finally highlights.. thanks. Kulich with 2 is a positive. It's preseason ultimately.. it means nothing at the end of the day 👍 🏒

  2. The puck needs to cross the line before the goalie gets tackled to the ground. That was 100% not a goal and everyone knows it

  3. These videos have become my go to Sabres content after a game – thank you. The fact that you include footage and analysis is absolutely perfect and it’s nice to see some clips beyond just goals and the basic highlights (I know this week was tough in that sense but generally you’ve had some nice extra footage)

Please keep this up all year it’s much appreciated!

  4. Thank you for posting this
I’m a PENS fan & have been waiting for over a day for the NHL to post a 10 min highlight of the game like they usually do about an hour after every NHL game
