Finnie hearing his coach say he doesn't yet have a man's body could not have felt good.
I still say he doesn't belong anywhere near that line and they should have been trying Nygard there the last 2 games at least. Instead Todd to threaten Kane (absurdly) left him at home and gave Nygard a start in his lineup spot last game. That game should have been game 1 of 2 of Nygard trying out on top line, and game 1 of 2 of the top power play getting game work.
i also am not at all sure that even if he makes the team out of camp, that Finnie sticks on the roster all year. Todd gets to the heart of it, he needs to bulk up and grow up physically, and gain experience.
Sandin Pelikka for sure needs to stay, and Michael Brandsegg -Nygard is good as well. I know Finnie wants to play with the big boys but he didn't seem like he was doing much tonight. Some of these acquisitions or players Stevie Y has kept need to be put on waivers. Don't know what Holl is still doing there. And Chiarot probably needs to go, as he doesn't seem effective anymore.
Stevie sure knows the type to player he's looking for. We need ASP more than MBN to make the roster, but I'd prefer to see both up. ASP with either Seider or Edvinsson will be a nice pairing. I hope to see Danielson soon too.
