The kids earned it. Zero harm in a 9 game trial. If he keeps earning it, why not keep him around. He doesn't have to play every single game (I still don't understand why teams don't rest players like they do goalies. Playing all 82 games (soon to be 84) is not necessary). He'll work through the slumps. He'll lose confidence, gain it again, and repeat the process. But if he keeps earning it, don't see the point in going back to juniors.
