Watched that tampa/panthers preseason game because the last few years its always been a gong show lol… well, after that game all I could think was that the Oilers shoulda signed Kostin. Not enough grit.
Creepy feeling this team is gradually aging itself away….Hyman and Hopkins best seasons were 2 years ago….I think it wise 97 didn't recklessly re-sign. If this ensemble shows a big regression Connor's time clock might dictate pulling the plug. They were the oldest team in the NHL last season with a "3" handle.
I think the coach is gonna fuck up the two young guys career they’re not fourth line players put them in the second third for now then move them up to the first if they increase and they could have two dynamite lines with with the top two guys having their own line and each one carry a rookie, but we all knew this was gonna happen and then they wonder why the hell they can’t produce young stars because they don’t get a chance
Beside 97 and 29 with hyman out they have nothing .All third and fourth line players .This is one of many reason why mcdavid will not resign. The futur is not good in Edmonton
So how does the smallest player on the ice go through the 2 best players in the world, on a line making $30M, then scores to win the game? How does that work?? My friend is genuinely curious and wants know..
