  1. less is more productive. do not overtrain. u only need 1-2 exercises and 1-2 sets to grow.

  2. Most ppl over train. I did for years, the older I got the more time I needed to recover. I’m 37 now and I look like I did when I was 27 because I’m more rested. Lift big, rest big.

  3. From what i understand. If you are training to ( or near ) failure every single time. You ate going to get stronger. Less sets at higher load really sets you up for success.

  4. The biggest improvements i saw was when I did slower reps. 4 sets of 8 max & that muscle group was on fire with an amazing pump. Count to 4 when slowly releasing the weights to its original position before the next rep is started. Its not about weight, its all about form & tempo!

  5. Ugh greg help me i am so weak and puny i eat 5000 calories a day but i cant gain weight. I weigh 150 lbs and am 5”10’

  6. That's what I've been saying for years, less is more, I do a whole body routine once every 10 days and the results speak for themselves I'm a lean 215 at 5'8 and I'm the only one in my gym incline pressing 365 😂

  7. I kinda do the same. Leaning towards the 8-12 sets / week than 10-20 sets that everyone recommends. Specially on legs. I do 2 sets on 3 exercises for quads 2 sets 2 exercises and 4 sets on calves. Calves don’t grow (need more) my quads and hamstrings love it. They grow well.

  9. I swear dude, the hardest part about following Greg‘s programs is getting out of your own head telling you it won’t work. It absolutely does. You just gotta remember it’s tailor made for a specific audience, and you can’t go wrong doing more than he does.
