  1. This roster isn't good enough , there is gonna be a clear difference when we play actual contenders .

  2. All around bad vibes so far. The players who SOOOOOO desperately lacked guidance and needed miracle Mike's golden touch have looked worse or terrible under his watch. They demote Perrault in favor of Sullivans son in law. Cronyism bleeding down from the top on down. Drury really has no idea. Who could have any optimism?

  3. This team will have no changes from last year other than Gavrikov. The rest is same shit , different day.

Hopefully Drury finally gets fired and the new GM with those two first round picks and hopefully more if they add by deadline day can start a true rebuild

Sorry Larry, Laba isn’t making the team even though he obviously should as does Berrard

  4. are you freaking kidding me, LABA is a stud, he has speed, vision, smart and grit on every shift.
Perreault showed only some but some mistakes.
Othmann has shown nothing for 2 years.
Robertson is a joke, constantly out of position.
I like Parsinnen and Berard too.

  5. Too many big contracts, not enough talent on the NHL level, and built horribly. There’s no future with this squad where it ends well. I’m gonna wager that Panarin will be moved by the deadline if the Rangers struggle. It’s gonna be a rough 100th season for the New York Rangers because they don’t have an identity.

  6. The elephant in the room Molly is not Breads contract its that Mika and Fox have regressed below there contracts and are blocking the growth of this team

  7. Drury's prospect cupboard has been bare for years. No big time prospects have been developed under his regime and none of the beat writers including Larry have called him out on this. One of his first moves as GM was trading Buch for crap and it didn't get better from there. The goal this year should be to retool this roster and build a team that can win a cup next season and beyond

  8. I agree with Larry. I love Mollie and Boyler. However, have they seen the Rangers bottom six forwards? Their D group is thin with Soucy and Vak on the left side. Even the Rangers top 6 is made up of 4 guys in their 30's. Zibanejad looks like toast. Panarin and JT are entering the season with injuries, Miller suffered a groin injury in practice. He skated in a no contact jersey in practice. Those injuries can linger. Who knows what's wrong with Panarin? First it was lower body and now it's upper body. Sullivan said it's the same injury. Did it travel up his body? I just see his contract situation playing games with his mind.

  9. If we don't have a cup contending roster then there's no need to make trades to just make a playoff spot. If a trade is made it better for next year and beyond. We don't a have Stanley Cup at the moment our goal this year should be to finally play a system that can compete and protect our greatest strength the goalies. We need to have an identity whatever it is. If we somehow play ourselves into a playoff so be it but I'm not trading a first pick to do it unless a players like Brady Tkachuck is coming back. Right now the word for this team is hope. Hope Mika is back. Hope the defense can defend our goalie. Hope we get secondary scoring. Hope our youngsters will develop and hope that they put out a product that fans can be proud of. Drury you're on notice. 😊
