  1. Like it or not a world class player is no longer on their roster. Duh. Dress it any way you like. There were times around the leaf's net where the wings had so many swats at the puck it could have been 10 to 1. Ok sure the D will get stronger around their goalie and forwards will come back harder, but I did not see a wings team that is going to be a threat going forward. My thought at the end of last season was they are a couple of players away because they really lacked depth. That was with Marner. With out him, and with the guys kept and came in, I see many dark days ahead.

  2. You can't analyze a preseason game. This Leafs team is deeper. They just need a top six forward and Rielly to have a bounceback season. They'll finish 1st or 2nd in the division

  3. Don’t think you guy’s are slow at all, they’re are just multiple young guns for the Wings who are really coming for a spot on the roster, a few have come out of nowhere,
Combined with some players with expected hype 🎉…stoked for my Wings 🪽 this year.

  4. If you don’t wanna hear about the salary cap, then you don’t have to! The beautiful thing about sports is you can be a total casual or super in the weeds with them, but if you wanna get into the details then don’t expect people to not mention one of the most important ones just because you don’t like it 🤡🤡

  5. The only time Domi, played, really good, was with Nylander and Robertson. There's one line.
What is there left? You boy's tell me the other three lines.

  6. When it comes to speed the leafs are a league average team but those kids in Detroit line up are all just fast

  7. Was it an ugly game?, sure, but it's preseason, lets all just take a deep breath and see what they look like when it matters.

  8. Kings aren't as good as people think…..they're relying on an aging defence, and hoping Byfield can take another huge step

  9. You absolutely can't do any serious analysis of preseason or even weeks starting the season.

  10. Maclean is so out to lunch. Florida will have no Barkov and Tkachuk. Say what you want but that will hurt them. I see them coming in 3rd or 4th this season. As for his take on Edmonton? They are pretty close to the same team they were last year. They might come in a bit lower like he said, but they’ll make another run because they have that extra gear.

  11. Preseason doesn’t mean much in any sport. It’s like when the Detroit Lions went 4 and 0 in the preseason so we all got excited about that, then they laid an egg and went 0 and 16 in the regular season. Wow!

  12. It’s too bad about Woll, but I am expecting a great year for the Leafs. I have been a Leafs seasons ticket holder for 46 years. 1979-80 was my first year. I’ve been living in Japan for the past 35 years, so I don’t get to a lot of games these days, ha ha. By the way, in my first year in 1979, my tickets cost $4.50 per seat per game. A bit different today, ha ha. Our tickets went up by 22% from last season.

  13. Robertson is a better hockey player compared to Cowen. It's just the team dynamic. I don't think Cowen is an NHL player today man… Maybe next season but I think it would be good to get him in some games…not entire season.

  14. Maybe Toronto shouldn’t have traded away all their draft picks. Why do other teams have 20 year olds in the lineups? Dubas and Shanahan era was a failure.
