The final big group of cuts have been made for the Boston Bruins and Fabian Lysell and Georgii Merkulov have both been sent to the Providence Bruins with Merkulov needing to go on Waivers while being sent down.

Lysell is still only 22. He still has time. He may not be the player we hoped he would, but he can still provide something to this team.
Bizarre moves from a General Manager that has proven he can't handle his job correctly.
It isn’t Lysell’s fault: it is whoever recommended drafting him. Lysell has no demonstrable history of being an offensively productive player. Look at his hockey DB, like look. Nothing for a Sweden, 22 for Vancouver in the WHL (Jeannot scored 40 in the WHL)…nothing for Providence…so who was the genius who recommended drafting him? On what basis do these Bruins experts think by playing him in the NHL suddenly he will start producing…I don’t get that. You earn a place, not based on where you got drafted but by how you play and how you produce when production is your claim to fame.
If these guys can't make this Bruins roster, good luck getting picked off waivers.
Lysell, Potsy, Merkulov, Beecher don't deserve a spot on this roster.
Lysell is a bust…. Top 1st rd pick, hes been given every opportunity to succeed. He hasnt been able to show that he's worthy. Which is sad considering the talent that existed at the time of his selection….. + Sweeny is also a bust drafting, hot take! 🙄
Lysell hasn't done crap quit saying he deserves to be in the nhl…
