Is heart a good goalie?
Who cares. Players just want the most money. So be it. If they win the Stanley Cup, that's fine, but it's not their real concern. Never has been.
I think Jack just went up to $15-$16 million AAV.
This just hit me. What if Minnesota is purposely making it difficult for teams in the West (VGK, Oilers) who have massively talented players (McDavid, Eichel) at the end of their contracts?
If each team shells out that kind of mullah to keep them, how can they continue to stay under the cap, sign more talent, and build their teams to contend for a championship?
I think Minnesota is being very clever.
