The Sabres are Dealing with Injuries

A lot of injury news is coming out of Sabres camp this week as it was revealed that Bowan Byram, Noah Ostlund, and Owen Power are all dealing with injuries. While Byram and Power are both day-to-day, Ostlund is week-to-week with an injury that seems to be ending his roster push after a strong camp. The Sabres are currently down 3 of thier projected top 6 defensemen, but Byram and Power are expected to be back by opening night. With these injuries, the door is potentially open for Mrtka and Komarov to make one more impression on the coaching staff before the end of the preseason. In other injury news, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is expected to play in his first preseason game on Wednesday as he continues his return from injury. Jiri Kulich is also set to return and play on Wednesday.
