Hutson's a great skater, plays with his head up
Joe Veleno looks so impressive
Winning the Stanley Cup would be better than this , but I still enjoy the channel and the hype train
See what happens when Monty is not in between the pipes.
Beck, Xhekaj and Engstrom are probably the top prospects in Laval.
Eliteprospects projected Zharovsky with 61 61-61-122 with KHL Salavat Yulaev Ufa
Calm down. It's the preseason
I'll say it again, they should put Florian -Bolduc – Demidov for 2nd line. Am I crazy? No lol
Put Florian and Bolduc right away so they could learn how to play with Demidov. If Demidov have to dial down to be able to make it work with Laine and Dach…. you will kill Demidov's potential. Bolduc is young and showing great things, and Florian is already set to be on the top 6 in Laval, learning and gaining experience… why not put him right away with Demidov so he could do both( meaning learning the game and how to play with Demidov)
bolduc passes are good too, always strong and precise
What is going on with you guys. Just because a player can put on a pair of skates, you start ranting and raving about what you call this future Russian superstar Zharovsky. Get a grip guys. We still don't know if Demidov, or Hutson, could play 4 rounds in the playoffs. I think Demidov and Hutson are going to have a huge target on their back's this season. Demidov might not blossom for 2 or 3 more years yet because he is going to be gun shy once the hard hits start piling up.
Hutson has a better chance to become a superstar than anyone else on the team, including Demidov.
Lmao Jesse doing Gally dirty 😂
Was at the game tonight. Veleno looks good. Worked nicely with Beck. Newhook was fastest player out there. Carrier is so solid. I think Thorpe is an excellent prospect with size. I sat 8 rows from the top and was great place to view the game. Hutson is a pleasure to watch.
Engstrom also looking good on his offside. Due to injuries he could make it out of camp. His skating is elite and is rarely caught out of position.
What does “Age:21-226d” mean on y’all’s player cards? I understand he is 21, but what is the 226d about?
Nice. Xhekaj leads with the most ice time. No penalties, 2 hits. Ok…the give away, but then someone should have been covering Taveres, and not all behind the next chasing the puck.
And an A on the sweater for the game!
Back in the 80s we used to sell buy tickets for scalpers. After the 2nd period theyd give us the unsold and we'd go up to standing room at the forum. The forum was always full. Over 16 thousand all 40 games. Saw so much from up there.
Bulduc should be on the second line
Beck really stood out last night, great forechecking and back checking, don't think he wants to go back to Laval lol. Kapanen was good too. Blais showed a lot of compete and so did Veleno which is reassuring since we do not have room for all those young guys it means we have some real depth in Laval for any needed call ups. I am looking forward to Bolduc getting regular line mates and time to learn the Habs system. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!
12 and 13 Beck and Valeno get my vote. Kapanen not physical enough… let's see who plays in the 2 Ottawa games. Bolduc is only 22 and he is already a middle 6…
We need one of the many players fighting to make the team so elevate their game to be second line players. And it would be a real bonus if the position they play is centre.
The last few preseason games are going to be so important.
We really don't know who is going to win those two forward spots that are available in the Habs line-up, but one thing is clear to me is that these young guys who are competing for those spots (13th forward and 3rd line winger) all are showing great potential. In my opinion, Beck is a future NHL'er, so is Kapanen and Veleno . Blais looks like a 4th line NHL'er..All those other players have so much potential , it's truly encouraging to see a Habs farm team be filled with so many top prospects..and then you got Hage, Zhorovsky on their way soon etc.etc.
Josh's quick reaction to Veleno's 69% FO 🤣
Hutson's shot was only rated at 72 mph. I never trust a prorating of any stats as they are never even remotely close to their season tally. Newhook just needs to more consistently finish his plays at the net to get it behind the opposing goalie.
So many people–including "the experts"–seem to believe that Lane Hutson is going to regress this season. I disagree. I think Lane is going to not only be better, but much better this season. So many people seem unwilling to acknowledge what's obvious to me: this guy is an elite talent, and his talent far surpasses any limitations that his lack of size present. I've been watching hockey for 70 years, and I've never seen anyone like Lane Hutson.
