Can Sabres Survive Luukkonnen Injury? w/ Paul Hamilton | The Jeremy and Joe Show
Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase are joined by Paul Hamilton following the Sabres 5-3 loss to the Penguins in their second to last preseason game. The guys start off by discussing the biggest issue with the game, Sabres G Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen leaving after just one period after aggravating a lower body injury. Paul lays out the Sabres options in goal, explaining why he doesn’t expect much from recent signing Alexander Georgiev, and the team doesn’t want to force Devon Levi into the NHL before he earns it. This leaves Alex Lyon as the teams primary hope to handle goaltending duties early in the season. They then turn to the injuries to the Sabres d corps as 4 of their 6 NHL defenseman are injured.

If Tuch is unsigned and the Sabres are out of it at the deadline it’s going to make 2007 look like a Sabres cup
Thank you Paul. It did seem like Lindy was basically saying the injured area didn't feel right. Not necessarily reinjured. I also agree if it takes 30 days for UPL to be 100%….fine. You start Lyon and sprinkle in Gorgeiev
