Lets go fishing… you mentioned the face of the franchice and roll out of the fisherman identity…. There I thought Trevor Gillies before Brett Lindros as another missed boat or flash in the pan or deck hand thrown in with the fish… could use him now to take on Rempe… It takes a motley crew to bring in that whale called the Stanley Cup… This said the haste of the journey and how it can hinder it… In Vancouver, it's the same with Cootes, a possible Gem, and folks are ready for the excitement but at what cost? They've been fortunate: Horvat Petersson, Boeser, Hughes great organizational rebuild & with a Calder Cup… yet snake bite #40?: so a similar story going way back… close but no cigar or 'the fish are kinda small Captain'… But if things go well there could be a rematch of 82' in the near future… 🤞❤ for Gary and his family
He will get ran in Junior too so maybe that's where he should learn…. So send him down; survive till spring then bring him up for a run and to prime the jersey sales for the summer… same I can say for Vancouver and Cootes especially if Peety wakes up… if not they are kinda forced to gamble as thay are closer to a playoff run. Even then… Therefore the addage: Schafers 'a bird in the hand' and we have two fist picks for next spring… this year it's all eyes on Rocky in Bridgeport and the talent available for next spring and have the new replacement fleet in Bridgeport and Exeter ready for these kids to go out in the new NHL and bring home the catch of the day…
