  1. I can't help it. I have to watch this race over and over. Sydney Mclaughlin Levrone, you are phenomenal. The Light, Favor, and Blessings of the Most High God Jesus Christ is upon you. You are Anointed and Appointed . No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against you shall and will be condemned in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ and His Precious Holy Blood Amen and amen.

  2. Not wanting to knock her down or anything, but the last 50 meters seemed very slow. Everyone else in the field closed the distance. She either slowed down and relax early or ran out of energy. If she could keep up her speed during the last 50m she would shatter the WR easily.

  3. @cpatanjali you athletics fan are absolutely 1000% correct in that statement. I find it insulting that the IOC has held to the oh so obvious lie of Marita Koch 47.6 1/4 mile. No one with the visual acuity of the great Stevey Wonder looks back on the video footage of that 400m so long ago in the 80s when the use of anabolic steroids was nothing less than rampant and in particular from the east German contingent though certainly not exclusive to the European women . There are those who question and (imo) rightly so even the world records of the great Florence Griffith Joyner so pervasive was the use of steroids in that time.
To all the haters out there who are even now cobbling there conspiracy theories together about how Syd , miss paulino and Miss Nasser were all juicing to run the times they have this year, keep throwing shit at the walls lovers but you will never get it to stick to Sydney nor I daresay to either Miss paulino or miss nasser. Their time to rule the athletics world in the 1/4 mile has simply come and opportunity was met by preparation and patience on the part of all 3 of these tremendous women athletes. Bodys honed to a razors edge with all the benefits that breakthroughs in bio physics and footwear and 21st century technology could impart.they did it right. And to Sydney I am so damn happy for you girl !! We believe Syd !!! No matter the so called official record …we who know ..know. And Tina Turner said it better than anyone else could. Sydney … Your Simply The Best, Better than all the rest !!!!

  4. @Guslevy I can not but agree with you completely sir . You are shrewdly perceptive to have have made the distinction that of all the jaw dropping performances that we are treated to every time she competes this last…" officially " not a world record will be recognized in the years to come as the single greatest race in female sprinting history. For the quality of the field competing (the 3 legitimately fastest women in history for the 1/4 mile ,for the legitimacy and scrutiny applied to it and for the dramatic never before seen double sub 48 performances ,this world championship was was unlike anyother…ever
    😊

  5. Sorry….best race ever was the 2016 London Olympics 800 meter mens track final w David Rudisha as winner in world record time still held…last place finisher was even an epic time

  6. There is no doubt that this is the genuine world record. Only the unwillingness of the current “record holder” to acknowledge what is obvious: that she was given steroids by East German trainers, keeps this current race out of the record books.

  7. I am impressed….and happy. Why..? …As an athlete from the 70's …I experienced such excitement…and Joy as I watched this race. Happy that she always remember to Thank Yahweh .. May she continue to be Blessed. (All of You as well)..

  8. Sidney won by holding onto technique…she never broke it. What a demonstration of coaching, training and mental discipline all working like clockwork.

  9. And BOL of Netherlands was very happy because Sydney ran the 400M flat… But don't be happy Bol… Because Sydney will be back to run the 400M hurdles in the LA 2028 Olympics – and reclaim the trophy is rightfully hers… For now, just savor your mediocre win…. Because in the LA Olympics, you will be relegated to the loser status…..

  10. let's be real about the current world record in this event also – but wild that it looks like she has a chance to beat it

  11. 49.43 to 48.90 to 47.78? [July to August to September 2025].

That's not a natural progression of improvement in time for an already elite athlete.
[Got to squeeze a 48.29 SF run in there to support the deception].

47.78 seconds: September 18, 2025. World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

48.90 seconds: August 2, 2025. USA Track & Field Championships.

    49.43 seconds: July 5, 2025. Prefontaine Classic.

  12. Sour grapes from Paulino . Can't see her beating SM. The later has barely started in the event and is still learning. When she REALLY begins to learn ……… !

  13. My daughter runs the women’s 400 . She is WV state champ and continues to be great now in college . She looks up to Sydney and strives to be as great as her . Sydney is just amazing. USA!!!USA!!! USA 🇺🇸
