2025/26 Buffalo Sabres Roster Preview: Owen Power
One of two #1 overall picks inhabiting the Sabres D Corps, Owen Power was the top pick in the 2021 NHL Draft. The 22 Year Old D-man has had a very up and down career so far. Power has shown a lot of offensive ability attached to his skating and puck movement skills. However, he has really struggled on the defensive end, particularly in his ability to win puck battles and play phyiscally in front of the net and along the boards. He has also had too much thrust upon him due to having inconsistent D-partners. In order to help provide Power stability, the Sabres aquired Michael Kesselring from the Utah Mammoth. Will it be enough to get this former #1 pick back on track?
