As a Montreal fan, I couldn't agree more about not playing each other in pre-season. It's too risky.
I think one important take away from the game is showing people the Sens are going to be relying on Brady to be dragging guys into the fight.
Few things 1. Slow feet can not survive in the current NHL. Halliday and Yak have slow feet and thats concerning. 2. Lets stop caring about attracting Quebec fans. If they convert to Sens fans fine, if not lets waste no energy on them either way. Its embarassing trying to convert them. Lets stop, its the Ottawa Senators not the Ottawa Gatineau Sens. 3. I miss McGratton and Neil in these games. 4. Green needs to start working the refs. Yell, get mad, all the top coaches do it.

While the game was no doubt fun for Habs’ fans, it was ugly on both sides for starters due to the number of fights, with additional embarrassment for the Sens due to their having been shut out.
