  1. Three days ago everyone was saying Struble was weak and useless, dude this guy completely levelled Jenik.

  2. Like what I saw tonite:
Laine made good decisions and wasn’t just trying to score. He made a nice feed and scored on a great Demidov feed
Florian was tough and in the play
Arbor made good decisions and wasn tough to play against and challenged the bench after the BS Carrier fight
Demidov was focused on setups as much as scoring
The whole Demidov line looked good together
The power play especially Hutson Demidov combo – the god ones were good and the bad ones didn’t suck
Dach’s hands on the goal and I didn’t mind his title – the only rational thing to do – what if he got injured – could have led to the end of his career with Mtl
    Dobes has great positioning
Lane Hudson was himself and his new shot

Did Not Like Bolduc’s hit on Halliday or Struble’s cross check on Jenkins but it looked like the punch is what did the damage
Missed call giving Mtl the 5-3
Flo needs better composure – lost his chance of playing in the last 13:55, not smart
Don’t like the glove on fighting by Arbor
Couzin’s slash on Demidov – number taken!

  3. Laine-Demidov-Hutson combo on the PP is straight up terrifying. No longer a one-trick pony with Hutson now QBing two PP geniuses on the wings. Ho Lee Fuk

  4. That was horrible goon hockey. I want to see hockey plays, not talentless thugs injuring skilled players.

  5. The Capitals showed us last year what happens when your team isn't physical enough: it leads to being dominated physically and offensively. But let's not go crazy like some of you like to do; Ottawa didn't exactly field their A team tonight.

  6. Makes sense for Struble to throw some fists , show with him in lineup and arber out doesn’t mean a lack of muscle …
I’m really liking idea of Florian as a 4th liner , just protecting the stars and offers something maybe what Dale Weise provided opportune scoring but not kidding ourselves

Injuries happens , knowing struble and arber can bring the muscle and toughness … really positive sign

  7. Just guessing….

    Suzuki Caufield Slaf
    Newhook Dach Demidov
    Laine Evans Bolduc
    Anderson Veleno Gallagher

    Xhekaj / Kappanen

Seems like defense will be this:
    Matheson Dobson
    Hutson Ghule
    Struble/xhekaj Carrier

  8. It is absolutely hilarious watching these two homers who are incapable of anything resembling an honest take about the Montreal Canadians.

The only thing the league is on notice about when it comes to the Montreal Canadians is the team will win enough to make the playoffs every year for years to come and every year will end the same, losing in the first round of the playoffs.

I have season tickets for a team other than Montreal and one thing stood out when the Canadians came to town, the team is too small to win playoff hockey. Nothing has changed. Caufield, Newhook, Suzuki, Hutson, are all too small

  9. I remember when someone took a run at Carey Price, deliberately injured him, and no one did a thing. Those days are over. I should be clear, I want all Montreal's players to play the game the best way they know how, and keep the scrapping to a minimum. But other teams have to know if they take a run at Caufield, or Hutson, the goaltender, or whoever, they're going to pay.

  10. I'll contain my enthusiasm for the moment. I want to see how they play when Tkachuk and Stutzle are in the lineup. But I like what I see in term of agression.

  11. Mtl were on a mission last night. They played like they were in a playoffs game lol its only pre season and Ottawa didnt have their top players. MSL will have a serious issue when he will have to choose which player to keep and whos going back to Laval.
Kapanan, Flavien are playing good hockey and both deserve to start on the first game of the season.

  12. I doubt they’re terrified but they now know this Habs team can’t be pushed around with impunity anymore. The Habs can make other teams pay physically and and on the pp.

  13. All I can say is that was an outstanding team performance. Everyone played a part in a dominant win. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!

  14. is Arber okay ?? It looks like he was pissed about something going through the tunnel after the fight. Hoping he has not busted his hand.

  15. LMFAO! Keep dreaming! Better get more big guys to protect those smaller players. The NHL isn't terrified or even worried! Had to also say Xhekaj's bad penalties will over shadow the good that he does!😂😂😂 also love Anderson on 4th line hurting his trade value. Keep up the good work!
