Worth a try
If we can get Ingram without having him have to clear waivers and put him in Bakersfield then I'm all over it; if it meant sending down and losing Pickard that is complete insanity. He is (and has always been) better than Skinner.
I can't handle another season of Skinner.. look at his playoff final stats, he was the achilles heel last year.
The last game against the Kraken the preseason game Stuart Skinner had me feeling all the same feelings last year. Just a letdown like come on bro that goal in between the legs like ly could have stopped at. I turned my TV off when it was 3to 1. It was like I was going through PTSD
They don't WANT to have Skinner as the starter this, year. They NEED to bc they have no money and there is no high end replacement available. They NEED skinner out of desperation

Him and Tompkins are in the ahl. Loan Jonsson to the SHL. Day and Ungar in the echl
Skinner and a 2nd or 3rd for Ingram is worth a shot
The fault with this logic is that you will never need to make "that Pickard swap". Pickard right now is the perfect backup goalie: Relatively reliable. Stays healthy. Better win % than your starter. Close to league minimum. Great in the room. The problem is that the starter is unreliable. Skinner has always had the higher "upside" and shows periods of brilliance, but the problem is the inconsistency.
The last 2 years Pickard has been 34 – 17 with a save % of .903. Why does he keep getting disrespected so bad. Keep him around for how he is in the room? How about what he's done on the ice.
