“Duck” them kids…

The Anaheim Ducks handled the San Jose Barracuda 3–2 in preseason action at Honda Center, with Cutter Gauthier, Radko Gudas, and Frank Vatrano scoring in a four-minute burst in the second period. Goaltender Ville Husso stopped 22 of 24 shots in his second preseason start, while Tyson Hinds impressed on defense and Beckette Sennecke showed his best performance of the preseason so far. The Ducks’ top line featuring Chris Kreider, Troy Terry, and Leo Carlsson displayed promising chemistry, and Anaheim’s aggressive penalty kill—with contributions from Kreider, Terry, Granlund, Carlsson, and Gauthier—continued to impress. The game featured more physicality than expected, with veteran Ducks standing up for each other while keeping health in mind. Preseason takeaways are always tentative, but fans should be encouraged by the lineup’s performance and development as the Ducks head to San Jose and Los Angeles to close out preseason. #hockey #nhl #anaheimducks #sanjosesharks

  1. Hinds cut back to soft pass to Vatrano was a beauty. Sadly I think were gonna end up trading a few D players this year as were gonna have a crazy log jam with great defense soon. If anything is to show for everyone's effort last night I think our defense is gonna shine more than offense (itll still be better than last season)
