Botfield this is pre season, the Rangers are going to try various lines
Looking way too much into preseason lines. The only thing here that is a lock on how the opening roster will look, is foxy and gav as a pair. I'm excited to see them in action tonight!
Laff has to have a firecracker up his butt and I think Miller is the player to do it. There will be no slacking off going back to play D.
Remember, one of Mike Sullivan's important concepts is a tandem on every line. Trocheck-Panarin, Miller-Zibanderjad, Carrick-Edsrom and if they want to give Parssinen a real shot, who is his tandem partner? Raddysh? Berard? Sheary? No, it needs to be Cuylle. So, this doesn't surprise me. I am not saying this is going to happen, but I think the Rangers are a deeper team if one of the rookies can break into the top six and Cuylle can become Parssinen's "tandem guy"… and I don't think that will be "expensing" him, it will be giving the Rangers what they have desperately needed …. a strong third line, it was a major factor in winning the Cats the Cup.
Fox is trash the worst top four defender in the league 😈
laf w JT and miller is perfect (i think that is Line 1)…JT works hard so hopefully it will rub off. Moving Cuylle eventually w Troch and Bread is also great(line 2), will brings a little more toughness to that line. And hey, you can always go back. 3rd line could be othmann, parsannen & perreault
