idk what people's issue is with 8 pre season games. No one is saying our full time roster players need to play any of them at all if they don't want to. It's not for players like Mcdavid, Draisaitl, or Nuge. Its for the young players and PTO's trying to crack the roster. These guys hardly get any time to show their skills to the main club and all of the coaches and current players. Would we even consider Regula, Leppanen or Philp for opening night if they hadn't had these pre season games? Quinn Hutson looked pretty good too, could some of these guys allow us to trade some older players that are considered irreplaceable? Some of these players offer more for less than some established vets on our current team, and the preseason is really the only time they have to show that with no risk against Nhl competition
Skinners crease and in front of goal awareness is dreadful. As long as he is facing shots from distance, he is okay but any chaos he folds like a beach chair.
If Bowman can trade for Connor Ingram, he would go directly to Bakersfield to play, now we have 3 NHL goalies in the system and now Skinner's being pushed because when Ingram has played a couple of months by then we might need a new set of pads in net if Skinner & Pickard have a poor start
