MISTAKE AT 5:55 !! Meant to say only .300 hitter in the ((NATIONAL LEAGUE!))
Didn’t realize there wasnt a no hitter this year!
If only Bo Bichette didn't get hurt in September… Despite that he was still leading the league up until the last few days of season. Would have crossed 200 easily
I followed for the stadiums/relocation drama but honestly it’s nice to take a break from that stuff. You should do some similar videos for the other leagues you follow
7:26 New Yorks Mets reference
For the league leading Brewers to not be mentioned was an oversight IMO. The Andrew Vaughn trade was pivotal this season.
Least surprising headline: the Pittsburgh Pirates are a terrible franchise.
And the New York Mets had another epic collapse.
Giants collapsing made me sad 😭😭
Well Brodie pitchers looking for velocity has greatly diminished both their accuracy and skill as pitchers. Pitching league wide is a dismal environment nowadays.
Although my biggest takeaway from the 2025 season is the almost instant decline of division leaders at the All Star break.
Seemingly overnight the Mets, Tigers, Cubs and Yankees fell apart when for all intended purposes it looked as though they were all going to run away with it.
1:46 velo matters, if you look at the results of Blue Jays pitching. When Jeff Hoffman can get to 97, he’s unstoppable. When he’s only throwing 93, he’s useless. Even a finesse pitcher like Berrios needs to have his good velo to be effective, he had starts where he was struggling to throw 91 where he got hit around, while if he got to 93 he was on it.
For hitters, it’s a fact that soft contact leads to outs and hard contact leads to better outcomes. Strikeouts are a necessary evil to avoid bad swings that cause double plays. The Blue Jays were one of the hardest teams to strike out but the easiest to bounce into double plays.
11:09 spot on, Brodie. Couldn’t agree with you more.
Cal rollie has to win the MVP over judge. 60 homer season has to win it. If he doesn't win it will be a bigger travesty than Albert belle not winning in 1995 after becoming the only player in mlb history to hit 50 Homer's and 50 doubles in the same season
It truly is amazing how all US broadcasters, media and streamers like you Brodie (Sorry to call you out.) to overlook the amazing season George Springer had. At 35 he had over 30 home runs, 3rd highest OPS behind Judge and Ohtani, 17 for 18 in stolen bases, and on and on. Everybody is championing how Judge and Raleigh should fight it out for AL MVP. Sorry, Springer needs to be in that conversation as well.
Brodie, you will be in 7th heaven Thursday night. All California game 49ers vs Rams!!
Trea Turner was the only NL player to hit .300, six AL players hit that mark as well.
1992 was the last losing season for the Yankees? Since 1992 the Pirates have only had 3 winning seasons. How's that for competitive balance?
150% agree Brodie Chargers still should be in SD NOT LA🤮
Wasn’t he one strike away from completing the no hitter?
Yamamoto came out of the game after giving up a home run. So he definitely left the game losing the no hitter and giving up a run
