The last 3 games show you the upcoming season. The D is so bad they cant get the puck out of their zone. Seider looks slower every year. SP is obviously already the 3rd best D in the organization, so either he makes the team or Yzerman is a liar by saying the best players will play where they should. ASP should learn in the NHL, this is not a playoff team anyway
I'm not a fan of Holl but he was decent that game
Compher and Berggren are gonna mess around and wake up in Grand Rapids a week from now.
Maybe if Brian never wears his stupid Predators hat on the podcast all season the Wings will make the playoffs
Didn't take long for AHL players to figure out how to beat the Red Wings defense.
I know it’s preseason but the wings are a boring team to watch. In the regular season I would like to see a line that jumps on the ice and go like dogs checking everything in sight.
And yes Bear looked good. Plays stout with slick moves love it.
Look like red wing up to old tricks, get it in the other team zone avoid Center of ice fight for it on boards till they loose positions,how many board battles you want to win all………want coaching look at what other teams do you can’t score from the boards
Brian worded it perfectly about Berggren being “invisible”. I’ll keep saying it, he’s been that way the last couple seasons since he changed his number from 52 to 48. As much as I want him to break out and show what we know he can do, Yzerman needs to make a decision on him sooner than later.
Doesn’t look like Wallinder will ever be a good enough skater to make the Wings.
Compher and Berggren should be traded or put on waivers, I think Shine and Watson should be on our fourth line

I only saw the first third, so unfortunately I don't know how the rest was, but Holl looked better defensively than ASP. Should we be worried? However, he just seemed unfocused and had a lot of turnovers.
Looking forward to a game with our final roster.
Seider without Chiarot, will Ed start next to Seider when he's fit again?
Would love to see a game where Seider plays with AlJo.

Kane wore the A in Buffalo on 9/27. You can see it in the NHL highlight video at 5:49.
My take on "C" and "A" is that they should be spread out on the ice. If they go with Dylan, Mo, and Razor, them most of the time they are on the ice together. But if you spread it out a bit the "A" on Kane gives the team a sign of leadership for more than 1/2 of ice time as opposed to 1/3. Just my opinion.
Not only sloppy, but the pens were absolutely sailing all over the place. They were flying at everyone wing with the puck. Kudos to the penguins for dismantling us and keeping our guys panicked
Zero poise in the D zone. Many times just blindly trying to clear the puck with almost every time having the puck end up on Pittsburg stick. Zero neutral zone coverage.
