With the start of the regular season getting closer and closer some tough decisions have to be made with the starting roster. Which forwards are on the outside looking in? Who won’t start on opening night?

Why won't they trade Janmark? Oh god, trade him already. Philp deserves to be in the NHL.
I think Howard probably hasn’t earned a spot but they might give the kid some early season time to adjust and show more. Philp earned 4c. Lazar out. Then probably tomasek but I’m thinking we’ll see him again soon. Not convinced Howard is ready.

Philp very very likely won’t make it past waivers, I seriously hope we don’t try and send him down. The guy is ready for that 4c role with growth upside into the 3c
I picking Philp for 4 c…I like Savoie..he can really move and is good defensively…I like emberson for right D but regula looked good also

With the roster they have and the players that are still deservedly getting a look, there is absolutely no logical excuse or reason why janmark should be on the opening night roster or roster period. I just do not see him fitting into this roster anymore and I'm tired of watching the team have to carry him. He adds nothing of value to keep him on the NHL roster
Skinner was bad but so were the guys you’re saying it’s only preseason for, if we aren’t going to overreact about the big guys being a minus 3 then don’t say skinner was bad either, they all were so hold them to the same standards
Lazar is 100% on the outside and would prefer Janmark on the outside as well, Philp has outplayed both significantly with much higher upside, Tomacek should be given a shot too
Knob will screw it up as usual no matter what happens but Noah better be on the team
