KC Chiefs Elevate 2 Players, Add Chris Jones to Injury Report

The Kansas City Chiefs (http://www.arrowheadpride.com/) announced on Saturday that they are elevating cornerback Kevin Knowles and defensive tackle Brodric Martin for Sunday’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens (http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/). Both players will revert to the practice squad after the game. Shortly afterward, the team added superstar defensive tackle Chris Jones to the injury report for personal reasons. Jones, who has not taken the field on defense so far in his short NFL career, will play in Sunday’s game as he is not eligible to be elevated again until the postseason. Knowles, who joined the Chiefs as a rookie free agent in April, has been moved to the gameday roster three times and is now ineligible for elevation until the playoffs. The Ravens also made adjustments, placing defensive tackles Nnamdi Madubuike and Broderick Washington on their Reserve/Injured list, while activating Brent Urban and Zaire Mitchell-Paden from the practice squad. The Chiefs have a 326-pound nose tackle available for Sunday’s game.
