  1. Reilly is terrible defensively. When he had that season with so many points, I said "trade him now".

When Marner's first contract was up, I saud "trade him now".

When Nylander sat out, I said "trade him now".

If I was GM for the last dozen years, Toronto would have a Cup.

  2. Guys we need to stop talking about the beeps i am confident they know and it’s a small annoyance for how enjoyable the content is

  3. Have not seen any bounce back from Rielly yet. In fact, I don't recall him looking this sloppy last year. Going to reserve a judgement. Admittedly the last years have tainted my opinion of him.

  4. Morgan's performance has seen a steady decline over years. I highly doubt there is enough bounce remaining. He has negative impact on the team. I dont want to see another year wasted. Get rid of him asap.

  5. No it will be more of a decline once again..mid to bottom pairing on the top line. Berube will do what he did last year. Leave him on line 1 and let him rot. Until he waives his nmc. He was horid all last year and the gm and coach never took him off D1 line…why???

  6. Only leaf's media might think that Reilly will bounce back…since 2013 he has been part of all the collapses and failuree..he also have been overated since 2019…he maybe had a good playoff but that's it…and the management signed @ 7 millions smh🤦🏿🤦🏿👀👀…leaf's media and fans are so delusional, it's laughable😂😂😂the jokes are on you😂😂😂

  7. The cope is strong with this group.
July – wE nEeD tO rEpLaCe HiM
Full summer goes by and he’s still on the team.
September – He trained all season (which player doesn’t) he’s going to fully bounce back for sure.

There is a third option Steve: he continues to decline and continues to refuse to be waived.

  8. Hey Steve….a recent article on CBC described a record setting bull in Alberta. Stands 6'5 weighs 2600 lbs and answers to the name, Steve faces camera, flexes and growls, "Beef!!!"

  9. Of course Rielly's numbers will improve, because he'll be taking back his place from Marner as quarterback on the powerplay and you have the best opportunity of getting points in that position. The Leafs were tied for least short handed goals last season and you'd expect to see that number improve even more with a defenceman on the point who can skate backwards faster, but not if the guy quarterbacking the powerplay isn't as good at passing or scoring on the powerplay, and even less so if the defenceman in question also isn't good defensively and not great at backchecking except to crosscheck someone in the head after they score. They didn't keep Rielly running the powerplay last season because of all the success he was having in that role and on a contending team he shouldn't be your No. 1 defenceman. The Leafs still shouldn't be getting rid of Rielly, unless they have someone ready to take his place and they don't. Losing Marner doesn't improve their offence and losing Rielly won't improve their blueline.

  10. Tanev is too old and injured and Reilly going down bighill.

Leafs are going to get blitz every single game this year.

    There defense is fucked

  11. Morgan has never thought through the game very well – especially defensively. At a younger age, physical ability can recover that. He's getting older, though – so that will change. We will see how it goes.
