Mason McTavish on new 6×7 deal with Ducks, contract negotiations and Trevor Zegras trade to Flyers



After signing a 6-year, $7 million per season deal with the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday, Mason McTavish skated with the Ducks for the first time this training camp at Monday’s morning skate. McTavish touches on his feeling to finally be back with the group, how the contract negotiations actually went down, how he prepared for the season, as well as the trade of his friend Trevor Zegras on picking his and Jamie Drysdale’s brain on contract talks with the Ducks.

  1. Sad that he had to catch himself from saying "I dont know why this took so long". Because we all know why it took so long. Verbeek isnt a good gm.
