Bret I just hope the pieces that will be put together are the pieces that will make this team contenders again. Last season on PP the team waisted too much time passing to get a shot hope this season the players shoot more and look for a rebound they have no dynamic duo of Mika and Kreider for tip in.

I can’t stand Bret’s face, voice, the way he talks… it just annoys me. I can’t watch videos with him in it.
Another flop year could spell the end of the line for a number of players.
Especially those seen as not giving 100% every game or playing soft.
Failing Teams have fire sales all the time – we aren't immune.
But things look good overall for a return to winning ways.
Have to wholeheartedly disagree with the concept of moving trocheck. He’s the exact type of player we need in our middle 6 and his AAV make him a steal based on comps.

I have to agree, ONLY because I’m trying to look at the bigger picture. I feel like Sullivan might like the opportunity to coach Jack Eichel, both from B Univ. 28 yrs old and an upgrade over 33 year old Trocheck. Remember, Drury wanted him but Buffalo wouldn’t send him to NYR. So anything short of a deep playoff run might make this possible, and other moves as well . I think that has a better chance of happening over us getting McDavid. Don’t think CM is coming here . Let’s Go Rangers !!!
Vinny is a player….on a team that needs his type of play. you want to move someone move laffy he is one season away from being the biggest 1st round overall bust in ranger history.
You need a guy like Trocheck as he gets under the skin of opposing players. He’s not a hot head like Miller, but gets in the dirty areas on the ice.

By December, if the #1 overall bust in nhl history doesn’t do anything of value, he and his $7m disaster of a contract will be traded to Minnesota in a package deal for Karil Kaprizov. I think they start there and then if we really tank this year, trocheck will be traded at deadline
Team leadership was too weak last season. Too quiet when things went off the rails. Accountability is needed. JT Miller will bring that.
