leafs gonna fold like cheap suits in the 1st round again and shrug and say they played good enough to win once again and jet off to their mansions and insta-loser as per usual. they are talented but have NO heart or compete. there is not a single leader on the team and it shows. glad i stopped watching these losers
I don't care how well JT is playing, I still wouldn't re-sign him for anything more than 3.5 mil. The GM need's to sign one of the centers that will be available this off-season. That puts JT on the third line either at center or wing and that's the going rate for a third line player. If JT want's the most money he can get he'll just have to find another team willing to take a chance on him. The window is closing fast on these core player's to compete for a Stanley Cup. They should have some money for some good player's.
I'm not sure that the Leaf's can beat the Sens. The Sens will play with heart and they'll out work the Leaf's but most of all the Sens will play with speed and physicality and you know how much this Leaf's team hates to play against the physicality where they would have to fight for time and space. If they end up playing the Sens and lose in the first round, what an embarrassment that would end up being. Try living that down during the off-season.
