The Panthers acquired Jones in a trade with Chicago before the NHL Trade Deadline and he helped them win the Stanley Cup.

The Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final on June 17; it was the second straight year the Panthers beat the Oilers for the Cup.
