Buffalo Sabres Injury Outlook, Best and Worst Preseason Performances

The Buffalo Sabres are dealing with a number of injuries only 3 games into the preseason. Mattias Samuelsson has been revealed to be suffering with an upper body injury and may not be able to come back in time for the regular season. We will examine who should step into that role. The news also came down the Jiri Kulich is suffering from a minor tweak. We examine what would happen if he were out for a longer period of time than is being forseen (it could be good news for Noah Ostlund). The final injury discussed is UPL’s injury as it seems he may be able to return before the end of the preseason. We also discuss which players have made the most noise in the three preseason games so far (Josh Doan, Radim Mrtka, Konsta Helenius) and who has struggled (Owen Power, Isak Rosen).

  1. I appreciate your honest statistical team analysis of the Sabres compared to the perpetual ridicule and arrogant condescension from others on this platform.
My uneducated choice for our seventh defenseman is Nikita Novikov. Still a bit raw but I admire his aggressive and confident demeanor.
