  1. Sounds good. Haven't seen the game yet (recorded) so look forward to considering your thoughts as i watch the game. No doubt I'll agree 100%. Cheers!

  2. I’m convinced in a good way this team will play to Hutson’s rhythm. He changes the complexion of breakouts, the PP – just so good.

  3. I like Beck and Kapanen but it feels like they are fighting for the same job. Edge to Beck for physical play. He's definitely an NHLer. I don't think we can absorb another smurf but Farrell might have been our best forward tonight. If you are going to play in the AHL, how lucky it is for these guys to play in Laval.

  4. Much better showing this time around by the Habs. And I do agree w/you DD re: NOT reacting overly either way to these preseason games bc coaches are probably telling their main guys, no need to go playoff hockey out there, just get use to the pace, work on playing our system…whereas other players fighting for the 1-2jobs on the Habs want to make an impression. As for the game itself, I was impressed w/Carrier & Thorpe. (Hutson was just being Hutson so no surprise there!) Thorpe still developing his skills but he really seems to know how to use his body to his advantage. I was disappointed in Xhekaj's play (but is he playing full on, probably no, so I will move on from being too critical). But happy to see MSL gave him an A on his sweater…nice msg of confidence. I liked what Beck showed on the ice, but if I had to choose between Kapanen & Beck, I would choose Kapanen…seeing Kap w/Newhook & Bolduc is a pretty fast, defensively aware line IMO. Altho I would still like to see Demidov w/Newhook & Bolduc…maybe less skilled and size than Laine&Dach…but it would be a fast, young line that I think compliment each other and I truly believe would create a nice growing chemistry duo between Demidov & Bolduc. BUT again, let's give everyone a chance…trusting the process…patience patience patience! Go Habs Go!

  5. A better game than the other night. Arby got to wear the A for this game. And nobody got hurt, thank God.
