These guys were still involved in gang banging a drunk woman/girl. Convicted no but done yes. These guys need to go to KHL or do something else. I see any of these guys getting signed in the NHL as a black mark on the league and organizations that sign them. The NHL is the new Catholic Church of sports. See no evil, speak no evil I guess no evil exists. Wrong so wrong. Hockey in general is an embarrassment when it comes to sexual abuse. This case and its outcome made these players look bad and our justice system look worse.
This is a really bad take…I don't agree with what the players did, it's not in my moral compass, but it's not against any laws and that was proven. I guarantee there are tons of current NHL players who've done similar things and it's not public. SDPN was very neutral when they first heard the outcome of the trial and now they are extremely opinionated on it. This is not how you should handle situations like this. Also, while I have a great dislike for the Vegas organization I think this is exactly how you handle this…you want zero questions about this. It's done and gone so leave it alone. This is a business above all. Just making it clear…I don't like it, but it makes total sense from a business perspective.

We've all seen that one girl that runs through your group of friends, she wasn't forced to do anything she didn't want to do, they literally make adult films that have scenes like this lol unfortunately this was public. I canceled my Carolina ticket package when they signed Tony Deangelo, along with a few other people I knew from the games and sth events. The doubling/tripling of ticket prices in the past 5 years and raising parking from $10 to $40 a game made it easy to not go back once he left the team.

The complainant was cheating and obviously lied to avoid responsibility for her actions. If you're gonna condemn the players you also have to condemn her. The travesty is she got millions for a lie. Its not up to the players to answer for the company and the company is well in there right to say you cant ask players company business because the players get no opinion on Management decisions.

Im done watching this stuff. Someone is going to sign these guys if they're good at hockey – the real story isn't which team signs them but instead the teams that turn away a good player for the purpose of virtue signaling. The Oilers, for example, need a goalie more than the team that will ultimately sign Hart, and they'll give up the chance for what? Media brownie points?
Guys you don't understand, the court system is great when I agree with the outcome, and is only bad when I don't agree with the outcome, because I'm a very smart person, unlike you liberal leftist socialist progressive communist woke cancel culture BLM antifa and other words that I definitely know the meaning of, because I am, again, a very smart person.
The problem is that many sports reporters have become social justice warriors instead of just reporting on sports which is their supposed job. And many of them do this for attention in the crowded sports reporting field. In other words they have become grifters who take advantage of people's emotions to stir up controversy and bring attention to themselves like they are some sort of heroes when actually they are just arsonists. The Knights didn't kick out this troublemaker fast enough imo.
