knowing the division your in, nothing gonna change. My team (the capitals) are on a incline and will be in a top 2 battle with carolina. CBJ is going to be contender against the devils with their young core playing fantastic. if columbus can get a goalie, they could have a chance for that last spot in the metro. rangers will struggle after dishing away from their core guys and a brand new head coach who has been on a penguins team for the last almost 10 years. isles are the islanders and haven’t changed. pens are not going to improve either there aging core and struggling defense. then the flyers. sure with the addition of Trevor zegras and and another great season from Michkov will help push the flyers. but nothing else has been done besides bringing in a new coach. flyers wont make the playoffs for the next couple of years due to the division they are in a the competition that they have been unable to beat since the last time they made they playoffs. So No they aren’t back.
Briere fleeced the Ducks. They will regret trading Zegras to Philly. Plus with a ton of cap space and three first rounders this year, they will really accelerate the rebuild process.
