    Both Dach and Laine will be playing this season for new contracts…this should motivate them tremendously. However, is it going to be enough to turn them into genuine assets instead of liabilities…time will tell !!!

    No matter what happens with Dach, good or bad, Kent & Gorts are shopping for a bonafide 2C. It would be awesome if they landed someone and we kept a healthy Dach on the wing somewhere. We're all kidding ourselves if we think Dach is a 2C on a cup contender…..Not for nothing: It's a bad idea to have a question mark as a center on a line with the only superstar we've had since Guy Lafleur.

    All you Dach haters loved it when they made the trade,the only question was if he was gonna be first or second line center, then he gets injured and everyone turned on him, typical Habs fans….shame on you all…

    Look back at a few of your podcasts last spring my comments on the subject of Kirby Dach first thing I said he's got great hands and would be a great fit with Demidov and that given a chance he could be the 2C.

    Criticing Arber for taking a run at Stutlze is a shit take. One of the sens took a run at Dach first, so Arber responded in kind. He didn't start anything, but he wasn't going to let them get away with that crap in a preseason game. I guarantee you his teammates love him for it.

    Laine had EVERY incentive to play his best down the stretch since MTL was fighting for a playoff spot.Laine also SHOULD have looked his best down the stretch since he should have had his legs by then but he was imo one of the worst 5 on 5 players in the league.Dach has imo never looked that good he has looked mostly like a third line player exactly why Chicago was happy to unload him for a first round pick.
    Monaha n also an injury prone player "no excuses Laine" OR Dach yet monahan put up a great season in Columbus last year.Columbus won their last 6 games of the year Monahan had 8 pts in those 6 games a point every game "consistent"so he delivered down the stretch.Even more incredible CLB beat Wash twice in that stretch the same team Mtl lost to in the playoffs.

    I wonder if they paired Dobson-Matheson because the ultimate intent is to try Dobson-Rheinbacher when Rheinbacher is ready. That said, I am excited to see how this defense goes!

    You didnt mention him, If physically improved Roy 2.0 is better, faster, more agressive forecheck… during camp, any chance he plays right wing on the Bolduc/Newhook line ?

    A healthy team this year will be relentless and offensively overwhelming to a lot of teams. To me the big question is, "will their faceoffs improve?" If it does, possession follows, and this team will dominate.
