  1. It's funny in a way. When you look at Sully and Muse as a person you would expect the defintion of physical play the other way around.

  2. It seems like there is this excitement about Muse like he is something special. If we shall see. I don’t have the same feel. I will say this. I’m not disagreeing with the take that maybe the team doesn’t have the taken to play an aggressive system, every nhl team plays that way now. Meaning to keep up it may actually hurt to not play that aggressive play where 5 players on ice all play like forwards at time. It may turn or to be really smart to not play that way. Or it can be a failure.

  3. I think Sullivan had a different take on what playing the right way meant. Muse seems to want players really finishing their checks…Sully seemed to want his players just chipping and jumping back into the play.. Often finishing your check means taking yourself out of the play for too long. In Sullivan's defense his team had no defense and mostly less than good goaltending..No different with Muse. I hope I am wrong about the Muse lineup…Teams need a good D and solid consistent goaltending

  4. Good morning DK, this opinion of mine will not be met with support, but…..I am in a total agreement regarding Graves. When he has played his best hockey thus far in his career, it was before the Pens. Why, because Colorado and New Jersey both saw and knew this young, big, hitting defenseman would best be left to play defense, NOT running up in the play like Sully wanted. So, with Muse as coach, the system he seems to want our players to play, and especially on the back end, this fits into Graves game so much better. Will we see a Slavin come out of him, of course not lol but if he can regain some confidence Graves can be the guy before Sully's system threw him out of what he knows, and that's defense. If this happens, we just may have a better Graves than we've ever seen. That would be fantastic! Blessings, Victor 🇨🇦

  5. Thank you DK. Seems like a good plan. We will see how it works in a real game soon and what adjustments may be needed. I agree with you on the neutral zone. Great show DK

  6. I’m liking the positivity, who knows what this team will actually be but they sound really confident that they’re better than they’re being given credit for. If they won all those games they blew multi-goal leads in last year they probably would’ve made the playoffs, so who knows? I’m excited for hockey to be back more than anything

  7. It's only preseason and a super-small sample size, but I find this interesting since he was mentioned: Sullivan's Rangers have blown two third period multi-goal leads already in the preseason. A lot of odd-man breaks and general neutral zone issues. I'll be paying special attention to that when the games matter, to see if that trend migrated to New York.
