Its just not normal first shot is a goal. Im down to say that Monty wasn't ready but he put up a poor performance tonight. Yes its preseason. But last year same thing happened in the regular season when he let like 7 goals 8 goals. All at home. Seems like he's cursed in his own barn. Habs fans gotta suffer in the stands at how painful that game was. I know this game didn't mean shit in the standings but watching that was embarrasing. First two games we thought we had the goalies. Look at that now. Completely changed. Fowler wasn't great too but can you blame him? His team was already far gone. You cant expect to be still mentally stable after getting shit on by Laughton (a former philly player btw) no offense to Philadelphia but he worked his ass off tonight. Not so much for the habs.
Yes we need a second line but honestly who cares about pre season as long as we are healthy. On that note 3 players are day to day as of today. Thats the real concern these guys need to get conditioned. we are excited and over analyzing right now. Breathe brother!
