that's the wrong question. Right decision 'hold on to Skinner' and take us to a 3rd failed cup-run, is the right question in the Oilcountry! I've seen against the Kraken the last two Oilers' seasons in fast-forward. Some hard pucks he held, but overall when it matters most, Skinner appears under-average. He'll never bring a cup to Edmonton. McDavid and Draisaitl together or separate is completely irrelevant.

It's a pre season game. He may as well play them together to get some practice in together cuz they're not going to be playing with the AHLers when the season starts.
I dont really care about these 2, we all know these 2 can produce. Im far more concerned with the supporting cast, whether howard and savioe can even do well during the playoffs. How tomasek and mangiapane will pan out, whether Henrique can produce and not be a complete potato. Whether Frederic can even get 45 pts in a full season, etc
