  1. Isn't his cap hit the same as Hyman's? Where is your physical play? They have to trade or give Seattle him. They also have to trade Rielly for a power forward. Goodrow as a ufa for under 3.5 million is a much better fit for what the leafs need.

  2. Kerfoot has more value than Holl, . Kerfoot is a middle 6 swiss army knife. Holl struggles away from Muzzin. Young, plays C or W, PP or PK. I never understood why some people say they'd protect 4-4-1 and give up Kerfoot for Holl. Bogo or Dermott or Lilypad can step into the right side and replace Holl. I think Dermott's skillset actually complements Muzzin better, so that pairing has some speed.

  3. Thinking this is to make dermott available for the kraken and there’s already a deal with Arizona for keefoot

  4. 7-3-1 that's been the plan all along

if they take dermott, who cares you have hall, they take hall who cares you have dermott

  5. We all know that players that Dubas really likes and goes after in trades and or draft them and will not give them up once he has them. Dubas was adament that Kerfoot be included in the Kadri trade. Colorado didn’t want to lose him and I expect Dubas doesn’t want to lose him Either. He is a versatile player. Expect the Leafs to go 7 and 3 and have a side deal that Seattle takes Dermott in expansion draft keepin their top four intact.

  6. Toronto shouldn’t be paying any price, take Travis or Justin, Justin has shown that if Muzzin isn’t paired with him he can’t do much at all on his own. He plays top four minutes because he has blended well with Jake, do not be stupid and pay Seattle whatever price to take players we can replace

  7. Big trade lol?!? McCann is Soo Greyhounds alumni so he has ties to Dubas so that definately played a factor bringing him in. Let's keep in mind he played in Pittsburgh for 3 years and was pretty much a 3rd line C for them and has no career playoff goals which should be alarming to us. While i understand the move as we are about to lose Hyman and Kerfoot, i just don't think it's much of a upgrade

  8. I honestly believe that Seattle is taking Durmot, only reason the leafs gave him the 2 year deal before the expansion draft. I think they have a hand shack agreement that they taking Durmot.

I think the leafs rather trade Kurfoot then loose him for nothing via expansion draft. But I agree with you that keeping both kurfoot and Mcann is the better play.

  9. Leafs are not really bothered by losing any of Dermott, Holl or kerfoot. The reality is they need to move onto the prospects. Sandin,Robertson, Lilg.
Bring back Bogo and piece these young bucks in there. Win or lose…. we’re already losing anyway!

  10. Talented player. Smart player. Not gonna really change much as far as playoffs, but hey its another bottom 6 nhl player so it is what it is. Kapanen became Amirov & McCann, not bad

  11. Honestly I can and would love to see him play with Alex Galchenyuk on his wing idk if it’ll happen but I see them on a line together and it would be dangerous top 3 lines

  12. Really that’s the best the Leafs can do. No this trade lacks brains, desperation and just no present and future for Leafs. Going the wrong direction by GM and Leafs. Good trade by Penguins.

  13. No I think it's a good move there is a lot of good players that Cracken can take they may not even take either Mcann or Kerfoot they might take Dermot who knows we will see very soon 👍
