  1. The Rangers can never thrive again until they fire Chris Drury. Imagine playing for an idiot who declares "open for business" on their captain after two bad games.
I hope karma delivers… Drury is the kind of rag that needs to be thrown out of the league.

  2. @11:46 Zegras sporting an Everett Aquasox lid. What's the connection to Everett, WA, north of Seattle? Inquiring minds want to know.

  3. "Italian stallion who's not even at all italian" is an insanely great statement -a finn

  4. Pens firing Mike Sullivan was so unfair to him. Brought them 2 cups and coached the slop that the moron Kyle Dubas provided him. Insane.

  5. I overheard the following exchange recently:

"We live in an area that gets snow. So, if I told you that it has snowed every year for the last 58 years, what do you think the odds are that it's going to snow again this year?"

"Oh, 100%. It'll absolutely snow again this year, with that kind of track record."

"And yet, after 58 years of the Leafs consistently falling flat on their face in the playoffs, you still think this year will be any different."

  6. You forgot to mention the BlueJackets have the Heavy Weight Champion, Mathieu Olivier. He gives the team a protector in the game, and frees up the players to play rougher without retaliation. Plus, he has enough offensive skill to put pucks in the net. If they can get in the playoffs, they can wear a team down in a series. They could go far.

  7. I just want to say, I'm so happy for Islanders fans, y'all can finally suck enough to draft an NHL level offense to play with Barzal. Congrats! Too many of you were so deep in stockholm syndrom that you didn't realize how boring you were to watch compared to all the other teams in the league. Enjoy your rise, y'all deserve it!

  8. I really want the Montréal Canadians vs maples in the conference finals this year. I got money on Montréal. Canadiens are my favorite team this year

  9. Penguins just picked up Arturs Silovs, so the goalie situation should be good as long as they actually give him time on ice and put some trust in him.

  10. Feedback on the Video — NHL Eastern Conference Analysis

    New York Islanders
I believe the Islanders are finally finished building. Under Matthew Schaefer, they’re ready to move. Trust me, he’s better than you think — just look at his stats over the last season. He’s been incredible. Of course, combining him with Matthew Barzal and Lee will make for some exciting hockey. Ilya Sorokin is going to show you what he can do with his glove work on the ice. They’re ready to mix it up in the playoffs.

    New York Rangers
Very, very disappointing last year. One year after reaching the Eastern Final, and they crumble versus the Florida Panthers double champs. To me, they look too old. Mika Zibanejad is past 30, the same with Artemi Panarin. If you have high expectations for the Rangers — forget it. I don’t care about JT Miller or any others — they’re not the problem, but they’re not the solution either.

    Columbus Blue Jackets
The American team from Ohio? They don’t interest me at all — except Kirill Marchenko. He somehow reminds me of McDavid, only bigger and not afraid to throw his face around. If Columbus is any good, he'll get credit. I don’t believe Voronkov is quite Ottawa ’17 Erik Karlsson, but their goaltending isn’t that bad. They have a goalie who can explode sometimes — Elvis Merzlikins — but they just need to put everything together.

    Philadelphia Flyers
Yes, yes, with Matvei Michkov etc. The goalie for Sweden in the Four Nations tournament showed up. And bringing in Trevor Zegras? Should be fun seeing him with Michkov. But don’t expect miracles this season, not just yet. Big build, big bodies, but consistency? Not there yet.

    Pittsburgh Penguins
The poor, pensioner squad. Of course, Crosby isn’t going anywhere — but what difference does it make? Tristan Jarry does nothing there. Have him return to the AHL, put in Arthur Chilow, whatever — they need more than nostalgia and names. It’s not working.

    Carolina Hurricanes
They got Nikolai Aho — nice addition. And seeing Kiandra Miller with Jake Slavin and Gustav Hr? Very likeable. Also, I really like their new jersey design. They look sharp — both in gear and in their potential.

    Washington Capitals
Old squad. Ovechkin finally beat Wayne’s record, but he’s going. Don’t build hopes around them this season. Also, they lost Mantha — nothing’s coming from there except average goaltending and fading glory.

    New Jersey Devils
Poor Jack Hughes. He’ll play well for a few games, then get injured. The line with Sheldon Keefe (sic – Sheldon Keith? maybe you meant someone else) hasn’t changed much. Jacob Markstrom will have some good moments, but the consistency is lacking. It’s never full health, never full focus.

    Boston Bruins
They still collect points. Had a bad season, yes — but don’t worry, Massachusetts will wake up. Pasta (Pastrnak) will produce, even though he’s without Marchand. And MacAvoy will show up hard. Yes, they’ve given up some parts, but they’re starting a tornado — ready to rip through. Watch for them.

    Buffalo Sabres
It’s going to be their 14th straight season without playoffs. I hope they return — the city deserves it. All eyes are on the Bills already, so they better give the fans something. But signings? Nothing special, aside from Ukka Pokelukin (?? spelling?), who’s shaky in goal. Not convinced this squad is ready.

    Montreal Canadiens
The young French guys are trying. The old fans driving me nuts every game with their chants (which are straight out of football). But I see them building — Dmitrov is being leaned on, but it still feels like a replay of Toronto. Dmitrov is their Matthews/O’Field, their Marner and their Morgan Rielly — lacking a goalie but otherwise a similar build to what Toronto did ten years ago. And yes, it looks like Toronto.

Tampa Bay Lightning & Florida Panthers
Lightning are pretty good at putting up goals. I think Vasilevskiy could end his career soon — sometimes looking like Price, sometimes like Tristan Jarry. Brayden Point is a player I respect, but another frustrating year waiting on Kucherov, the Russians, etc. Florida is brutal (in a good way) — finally getting the dynasty back together. They’re ready.

    Ottawa Senators
Finally done, yes? They resemble Florida a bit. Olmarck ~ Bobrovsky, Barkov ~ Tim Stützle. I’m just kidding with the formal comparisons (shabbot = forsling”?). But seriously, great team, great future. Worth watching. They will be explosive this season.

TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS (time to get real angry 😤)
Ha! The Leafs, really? You expect more from them? Let me tell you — nothing is better. That team is a joke. You say Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, William Nylander, John Tavares — big names, sure. But where are the results, huh? Where are the Game 7 wins? Spoiler: still 0 since 2004.

They crumble. They choke. And the pressure? It’s eating them alive. The media, the fans, the hype — they built a noose out of expectations and they’re strangling themselves.
You want leadership? Coach Keefe said the team got “soft and purposeless” when they played from the lead in several games. That’s on them.

I’m so sick of “potential,” “hope,” “next year.” Enough already. Either they fix their culture — demand excellence, not perfection, suffer losses but learn — or they’ll keep spinning in the same cycle. It’s infuriating.

    Overall Thoughts
Your video hit a lot of good points; you see the ups and the downs well. I just think some teams are being overhyped, some are being slept on, and Toronto deserves more critical pressure than they’re getting — because they’ve earned it.

  11. I hae had Fox and Zinbenejad in my fantasy pool for a few years and traded them both out. I find they are streaky over the season which hurts when you need them the most.

  12. Wait I'm confused is there going to be a Season this year? I thought the other 31 teams from Owners to coaches to players all agreed that The Florida Panthers are the greatest team ever assembled and to just give them the Cup for the next 5 years.

  13. You predicted the Cats winning back to back now you did it again.. You sir are a prophet , welcome Boston the Bermunda Triangle of Mid. Hey the Cats used to be there so. enjoy Boston enjoy
