    I think I have a bit of the 'tism because #85 beside #58 is the biggest reason why I want Sandy and Yak paired together.

    I don’t hate Drake but I think you are way too high on him. I think he has too many invisible nights and moments to be that high on the list. When he is on he is great but I find he doesn’t really have a B game. Takes a lot of bad penalties, and I’m stressed when his line gets stuck in the defensive zone. I find he plays small, he started last season playing like a power forward, and had thought he had brought more snarl, but went back to his standard shortly after. I’d like him to play a little more angry. Channel some Nathan MacKinnon energy from their training in the offseason.

    Batherson's hit totals always seem so high to me I can't remember any single hit he made last year his "physical" game if we even want to call it that is so deceiving on the stats sheet because he doesn't use his body properly he takes shifts off and if he keeps doing that he's gotta go unfortunately I don't care if he gets to a point per game we already have other guys that could get there Batherson needs to be more engaged on a nightly basis and get better both ends of the ice and not just rely on the power play for pts

    I know you guys have to generate discussion, but do you really have to stoke the Yak is ready for top line minutes in the NHL narrative? We've got Jensen, Zub, Spence and Matinpalo all ahead of Yak on the depth chart and none are waiver exempt (and none would clear waivers). Short of an injury there's no room for Yak and you can't argue it's not better for him to develop another year in Belleville where he'll be the number one guy. He also needs that to get bigger and stronger. Then there's the argument for saving a year on his ELC. Come on guys, you need to be the voices of reason that push back on the fans who always want top prospects in the NHL immediately. But, I do love your podcast.
