My movie would be Mystery Alaska and the player who could play another sport would be Lehky and Tennis.
Zach is right, we ain't talkin' 'bout the game, we talkin' 'bout practice. But I'm still feeling like COL easily wins the division, especially after hearing Olofsson's commitment to defense.
Two sports? Burns joins Jake The Snake on Team USA Handball!
The obvious answer for two sports is Landeskog, hockey aaand horse racing 😂
Here's a fun swag story. I have a colleague who has zero interest in sports. One day he's in my office and sees the Hedjuk mini jersey from his retirement ceremony on my wall. "Someone gave me one like that, want it?" he asks. Yeah sure, I said, who is it? "I dunno," he shrugs. "Number 12 I think."
Me: 12… 🤔
Next day he shows up with this mini jersey that's been folded in quarters for like 8 years. "Oh, my mistake.. it's 21," he says as he unfolds it.
Me: 😲😲 "Yes I will take that off your hands sir."
It took me many, many careful passes of an iron over a damp towel to get the creases out, but that's the story of how I have Forsberg's retirement mini jersey on my office wall
3:15 YES Zach, agreed. If there isn't an appearance beyond round 2 in one of the finals, this team needs to change leadership at the top, whether it's bednar or macfarland. It'd be 9 years under bednar with a single finals appearance with this talent…UNACCEPTABLE.
Too many Avs fans are so in love with Regular season and just want to see Cale Makar score more points than any Dman in history…that's great but SORRRY NOBODY IS HERE FOR REGULAR SEASON! Get to the trade deadline ship out the munchkins and get some real size-able Defenders to compliment all the offense and go deep come April.
i see this episode is pretty much 40 mins lol i was gonna comment on other ones they were around 35 mins but they flew by like it was only 15 mins lol was gonna say u guys need to go longer for the 3 a week ones .
barring a bad injury or someone under preforming real bad i see no need to be even involved in trade deadline stuff at all , we got what we need its up to the boys to pull it together and get us back to the finals so we can make it 4-0 in the cup finals 😛 and continuing to be the only undefeated team in the cup finals
Agree with zach here conference finals at LEAST.
What I like going into this season. Is actually the harsh exit to Dallas last year. You can tell the team is hungry and dedicated even more so. What I also like is bringing back most pieces from last season. They now share that bond of the painful loss and hopefully can use it.
Also GABE
locked on nhl with Seth and JD had huge praise for the Avs with JD especially thinking they could go far
Youngblood is on YouTube
For some reason I feel like if players have been on the Avs for a year or more when their time comes to resign, they understand that getting the highest number possible isn't in the best interest (and perhaps culture) of the team. They are happy to take a lower number so the team has a better chance of winning (Nate, Cale, Devon etc). When a player arrives from another team (Necas) they come in hoping to get the highest number possible when signing a new contract. I just hope Marty's time in Colorado last year has helped him understand that if he want's to hang around and play with this team, he'll have to concede a little on the contract front.
I'd recommend the movie Trophy Town to any Canadian's but also anyone who is interested in a documentary style movie about how a small town hockey team beat incredible odds and went on to win the Hockey World Championships not once, but twice. They are my local team, and they won against in both 1939 and 1961. Some of the 1961 team members who were part of the documentary came to the local screening of the movie. So awesome to hear their stories!
I feel optimistic but thinking about nichuskin in playoffs always brings me back down
