Definition of “real talk.” I appreciate the vulnerability.
This was a powerful & very moving interview. 😢 It's sad that athletes who are friends end up developing a type of bitterness towards each other because the athletes have to win; you don't win, you don't make money; you don't make money, you can't feed your family. After watching documentaries by Flo about wrestlers & seeing the human side of them, Im no longer happy to see a rival, to one of my favorite wrestlers, lose because his livelihood is dependent on winning. I love the stance JB has taken.
Great statements of how those attitudes no longer serve you!!
As incredible a wrestler as Jordan was/is, he is just as remarkable in his introspection.
I will never forget JB & DC commentating the Steveson Hendrickson match.
I hope you come back and kick ass 1 more time
That really spoke volumes….both Kyles words/actions as well as Jordan’s to be able to bring to light what was done in the dark ~
🙏🏼☀️💓
♥️🩸
JB didn't have to share the intimate moment between him and Dake – he even takes a moment because you can feel how heavy this weighs on him. Both good dudes, its easy to get caught up in competing but keeping in mind that everyone is good people at that level is the best take. Thanks for sharing JB. Big fan of what you do for the sport!
Would love to see David Carr at 74 and JB at 79 for the 2026 team
Jordan. Please patch your wall.
All the Penn State fans who jeered and booed him should watch and hopefully learn something from this…
Great content, sorry for JB's loss. Read or watch something on that and how close his dad was to shaping him as the man he has become today. Flo has really brought me and my old childhood friends together through our participation in wrestling. It was always a strong bond, but this allows us a shared forum to reminisce and see how the sport has grown.
Shout out to JB for being vulnerable here and admitting when he could’ve handled something better. That’s what champions do and JB & Kyle/DT/Chance learning off each other is better for USA Wrestling so I’m 100% with it. 🙏🏼
This is real shit. I had to wrestle my best friend in high school and it changes something. He was my boy off the mat but on the mat was a different story. Can’t imagine at the highest level
I agree, Very impressive families behind these guys.
Glad to see it mature to this. Heartfelt.
Would love to see JB and KD in the same room reflecting on each other and their careers
JB would not only be a great head coach, but possibly the sports best guy behind the mat side mike.
Beautiful commentary, but the notion that the more accomplished the wrestlers are, the “better” the families are is just asinine.
That’s amazing to hear, we all need to get there within ourselves …no matter what sport or even in life no matter if it’s a job or whatever
No beef! If Burroughs hadn’t shattered his ankle Dake would still have never made an Olympic team. Burroughs has an Olympic gold. Dake was TECHED in his only two showings.
