Is Barry trying to make up for his poor decisions last year. Luke’s experience vs the new guys is overrated
I will never understand the Duchene buyout.
Barry really thinks we are 1 piece away…
Is Evangelista a Stanley Cup winning top 6 forward? That's what Barry is thinking. He wants that caliber of player and is saving cap space for that player. We went out and bought winners. Wood looks like he has that ceiling. And yes, Barry is clearly learning how to be stingy.
I don't think BT has ever been a fan of young players. When he coached I always felt he was too critical of young players and was a veterans coach. Seems to me he is taking the same tact as GM.
I keep hearing "turn down the drama" while you're being super dramatic… we get it, you "love him". Here's the thing, he is not in camp, they are not close enough for him to be in country or attend practice with a team trying to figure things out right now – as you all have said, have to come out to a fast start… I'm over pretty boy, his stats do not warrant big numbers. ridiculous. be gone proven nothing. (and the whole stop making bad deals unless it's someone we like but can't score / 0.15 goals per game / but give him more millions of dollars regardless…come on…)
I got to say, the drama Ann has is a lot today, but overall, I agree with the sentiment. It's not a lot of money, but as Luke – I would be offended if you offered me McCarron or Smith money. Let's not talk about the 12 other kids we decided were also not good and we let them go – Askarov, Tolvanen, Fabbro, Carrier, Tomasino, the list goes on for quite some time. Is it that every kid coming up isn't good, or that we don't do well at developing them in the majors? Are any of them Forsberg? I'm not sure how we'd know. We bring kids up and say make it on 4th line, or you're going back down – we don't give them a chance to play where they should be to become a Forsberg caliber player. I think there's enough evidence to say the problem is the Predators, not the kids who are playing. I want to be excited about Kemell, etc. but they'll get one or two games in a line where they could shine, and if they don't perform at a Forsberg level that one chance, they are either back into the minors, traded, or sat.
Matthew Wood and/or Joaquim Kemell should get a long look to start the season, so Evangelista could be trade bait. It wouldn't be the end of the world if "Pretty Boy Vincenzo" was traded.
Vange needs to go. Doesn’t produce enough. I’d rather have a 40 yr old duchene

We’re so tired of GMBTs crap.
I feel like we are witnessing a shit show in management with these decisions. At this point if that little of a discrepancy is keeping us from signing LE then it's time to move on. My god. We need this team getting on the ice together. We don't need the drama
