Love this team, but too many of the media regulars are beyond insufferable. It used to just be the frequent, weaselly, annoying questions (looking at you, Mark. And a dishonourable mention to Kevin). Alas, we find ourselves 120 seconds into this 30min pre-season, pre-game clip and here's a display of 'journalism' frankly defunct of any class, decency or respect. And to go on and lead off the player interviews with thinly-veiled attempts to WEASEL out any information on something you were just asked to respect the privacy of.
I appreciate this content, and for the record I do not buy into the idea that the Toronto media makes winning as a Leaf more difficult. I will say I think everyone — especially staff & players — deserves better than Mark Masters, and I earnestly believe that change would improve team morale. It would mine!
