The Edmonton Oilers have signed Russian Forward Vasily Podkolzin to a three year contract extension. This comes just over a year after acquiring the young winger in exchange for a fourth round pick. Podkolzin had many question marks coming into the season last year, however his hard working play style won over the fan base.
